Unique Identity

Dr David Crawford, Ngakpa, B.Sc., Ph.D., Dip. R.M.S.

David as a Ngakpa
"The planet does not need more successful people. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of all kinds."  The Dalai Lama.

I am the David Crawford who lives in Wales. I often sign myself  'DavidC' in a unique way.  I practise and teach Vajrayana as an ordained ngakpa, one of the only two (I can put anyone in contact with ngakpaCB in Germany), pronounced thus by Kyabje Chime Rinpoche .   I am the author of
a book, lovingly illustrated by Mary Walker, called 'Grace of Mind'.
I founded the Kyabje Chime Rinpoche International Archive (KCRIA),
and initiated Sangha Dharma Experience (SDE) for the benefit of
Rinpoche's students.  Kyabje Chime Rinpoche said publicly that I'm responsible for his teaching.
To friends I can be known as Dave or Davie.

There are several people on the internet called David Crawford or DavidC.  My background gives me a unique identity not to be confused with any other, e.g. the person of the same name who is from Northumbria, England, is a Zennist/Gnostic, and has written a book - 'A Manual for the Dead', about which I have no experience.  I have never followed the Zen approach to Buddhism, though I have an affinity for it.  I am not the Prof. David Crawford (though we are not unlike in appearance) who is honorary chairman of the Creative Science Foundation
